The Middle Atlantic DWR-18-17PD is an 18RU pivoting wall rack designed to maximize mounting capacity and simplify field installations. This 17 in (43.2 cm) deep unit features a reversible center section that can be secured with either a key or a padlock, providing customized security for sensitive equipment. For installers working in tight spaces, the center section can be serviced from the front, and an optional minimum-clearance latch allows for side-by-side or interior corner mounting to conserve room. This steel rack is constructed with robust welded seams and is seismic rated with a 155 lbs (70.3 kg) seismic load capacity when used with the DWRSR-ZL latch. The front includes a factory-installed plexi door, allowing for visual inspection of active or passive cooling systems. This TAA compliant rack is built with Forward Rackrail™ compatibility, allowing for a Tool-Free Quick-Mount™ system that enables one-person installation of the center section to the backpan on-site. The design also accommodates optional PDT or PD Slim PDUs in the center section rear channel to optimize usable depth.
