The C2G54277 Superbooster® USB Camera Extender Over Cat Box to Box Kit provides reliable signal transmission for USB devices, enabling cameras, interactive whiteboards, and printers to be placed at much greater distances from the host computer. This active extender kit is specifically tested to support leading PTZ cameras at 1080p or 4K resolutions, depending on the specific camera model used. Utilizing chipset technology designed for high compatibility, it handles data transfer protocols including Isochronous, Control, Interrupt, and Bulk. The system supports USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 technologies with a data transfer rate of 480 MBPS. For most standard installations, the units should be set to Auto Mode via the integrated DIP switches to achieve plug-and-play performance. However, for dual-role USB devices like certain video bars, the extender should be set to Device Mode at the USB device end (e.g., the camera) and Auto Mode at the host end (the PC or laptop).
