The C2G54262 Superbooster® 2x4 USB Extender Switch manages high-speed USB 3.2 Gen1 signals, providing bidirectional data transmission at rates up to 5Gbps. Designed for professional AV environments like auditoriums, huddle rooms, and corporate spaces, this extender uses a single Cat6a U/FTP cable to bridge distances of up to 100m (328ft). It supports isochronous, bulk, interrupt, and control data transfer protocols, ensuring reliable performance for demanding peripherals. The system is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. For professional camera integration, this switch provides RS-232 and FSYNC GPIO pass-through. The transmitter unit features auto-switching via USB 5V detection and manual switching modes to accommodate different workflow requirements. This plug-and-play solution requires no drivers or software for operation. The aluminum chassis houses a transmitter and receiver that both stand 1.1" (2.8cm) high.
