The Chief CPA060 is a 60 in (152.4 cm) pin connection extension column designed to provide 4 ft (1.2 m) of additional height for ceiling-mounted installations. This black extension column features a dual pin connection system where fasteners are secured into factory pre-drilled holes at each column end using two thread-forming screws. Importantly, these fasteners do not pass through the center of the column, which maintains an open pathway for cable pass-through. The column includes grooves on the outer surface that serve as drill guides and contribute to a professional appearance. This component is highly customizable for field installations, as it can be cut to length, re-drilled, or threaded to 1.5" NPT. It is TAA compliant and UL Listed, ensuring it meets rigorous standards for professional AV environments.
