The Middle Atlantic ERK-4028 is a 40 RU floor-standing rack designed for professional AV installations requiring high structural integrity and thermal management. This 28 in (71.1 cm) deep frame features a fully welded steel construction and is finished in a black wrinkle powder coat. It is engineered with top and bottom venting in the rack sides to facilitate airflow, and includes convenient lacing points and slotted rackrail brackets to streamline cable management. This unit provides a usable height of 70.13 in (178.1 cm) and a usable depth of 26.47 in (67.2 cm). For security, it includes a key-locked standard rear door. This ERK Series rack is UL listed with a 2,500 lbs (1,134 kg) weight capacity and is TAA compliant. For seismic protection in sensitive environments, this frame can be paired with ERK-Z4 brackets to achieve a seismic load capacity of 680 lbs (308.4 kg). This frame-only configuration can be ganged with other ERK Series enclosures to create partitioned multi-bay installations for improved security or controlled thermal management.
