The ERK-2720 is a 27 RU floor-standing rack designed for economical, standalone AV installations. Built with fully welded steel construction, this frame provides a high-strength foundation with a UL-listed load capacity of 2,500 lbs (1,134 kg). For installations requiring enhanced security or thermal management control, these units can be ganged together to create partitioned multi-bay enclosures. This specific 20 in (50.8 cm) deep model features a usable depth of 18.47 in (46.9 cm) and a usable height of 47.38 in (120.4 cm). For seismic environments, the ERK-2720 is seismic rated and provides a seismic load capacity of 597 lbs (270.8 kg) when installed with ERK-Z4 brackets. The unit includes a key-locked standard rear door for secure equipment access and features top and bottom venting in the rack sides to facilitate airflow. The front adjustable 10-32 threaded rackrails include numbered spaces and lacing points for organized cable management.
