The Middle Atlantic UPX-1500R-2 is a NEXSYS Line Interactive UPS Backup Power System designed specifically to protect AV equipment from power instability. This 2 RU unit provides 1500VA / 1350 W of backup power and features 8 NEMA 5-15R outlets organized into two banks of 4 outlets each for bank outlet control. To simplify installation, the unit ships with pre-installed 4-post rack ears and a pre-connected battery, allowing for immediate integration into a rack. The UPS utilizes Line Interactive topology with MOV surge protection to maintain clean power. For long-term maintenance, the battery is hot-swappable and accessible via a front panel, allowing for service without disrupting the system. Monitoring is streamlined through a front LCD screen that displays the serial number, battery replacement date, battery installation date, firmware version, and replacement part number. For advanced integration, this unit is RackLink compatible when used with the UPX-RLNK-CARD (sold separately) and includes an RS232 port for control.
