The Essex RCS-1824 is a pre-configured, floor-standing AV rack designed to streamline residential installations by arriving fully assembled. This 18RU system features a 24" depth (61 cm) with a usable depth of 20.1" (51.1 cm) and a usable height of 31.5" (80 cm). Built with fully welded steel construction and finished in a metallic gray textured powder coat, it is designed for durability and high-capacity use, boasting a UL load capacity of 1200 lbs (544.3 kg). This rack is engineered for efficient field deployment, shipping with pre-installed accessories including three 2RU, 16" deep shelves and three 1RU blank panels. It includes top-mounted DC fans for thermal management and a set of Essex accessory brackets, such as the ESX-ACC-BKT, for mounting vertical power or lace strips. The unit features a glass front door for visibility and a locking rear access panel for security. Access is further facilitated by locking, removable side panels. For compliance-sensitive projects, this model is TAA compliant and UL listed.
