The Da-Lite DL14989EBL is a Tensioned Advantage Series ceiling recessed electric screen designed for large venue applications. This 87" x 153.75" (177" diagonal) unit features an HD Progressive 1.3 surface for high-resolution front projection. A key feature of this model is the integrated SightLine™ cable drop, which utilizes a single roller design with a suspension system of 3 or 4 thin cables. This eliminates the need for a traditional black drop, creating the appearance of a floating screen. This configuration allows for variable vertical placement between the ceiling and the top of the screen, supporting a standard drop of up to 70" or an optional 10' drop via part number DL16476. This model is provided as a Case/Box Only for Rough-In, allowing the screen case to be installed during the rough-in construction stage and the surface assembly during the finishing stage. It is TAA compliant and features a white powder-coated, UL Plenum rated case. The screen is motorized with a 220V (50Hz) export motor and includes standard low voltage control. It is designed to be compatible with various Da-Lite accessories, including the DL16521 PoE injector controller and the DL16522 RF (BLE) remote controller.
