The Da-Lite DL14986FL is a Tensioned Advantage series ceiling recessed electric screen designed for high-performance front projection. Measuring 87" x 153.75" with a 177" diagonal, this large venue screen features the HD Progressive 1.0 surface to deliver high-resolution imagery. This specific SKU is a surface and motor assembly only; the case and box must be ordered separately. It utilizes SightLine™ cable drop technology, which employs 3 or 4 thin cables to provide the appearance of a floating screen, eliminating the need for a traditional black drop border. This system allows for variable vertical placement of the screen, with a standard drop distance of up to 70" (1779.8 mm) between the ceiling and the top of the screen. The unit is equipped with standard 120V (60Hz) motorization and standard low voltage control. The white powder-coated case is UL Plenum rated, and the TruGuide™ Electric Screen Tensioning System ensures the surface remains perfectly flat for optimal viewing.
