The Da-Lite DL14986EL is a Tensioned Advantage Series ceiling recessed electric screen designed for large venue environments. This 87" x 153.75" (177" diagonal) projection surface utilizes the HD Progressive 1.0 high-resolution surface for high-quality front projection. A key feature of this model is the SightLine™ cable drop system, which utilizes a suspension system with 3 or 4 thin cables to provide the appearance of a floating screen, effectively eliminating the need for a traditional black drop border. This configuration allows for variable vertical placement, providing up to 70" of standard drop distance between the ceiling and the top of the screen. The white powder-coated case is UL Plenum rated and designed for recessed installation to conceal the rough opening. This unit comes equipped with a 220V (50Hz) motor for export markets and includes standard low voltage control for flexible operation. The TruGuide™ electric tensioning system and Smooth Roll Technology work together to maintain a perfectly flat projection surface.
