The Da-Lite DL14980EL is a Tensioned Advantage Series ceiling recessed electric screen designed for high-end projection environments. This 78" x 139" (159" diagonal) 16:9 HDTV format screen utilizes the SightLine™ cable drop system, which employs a single roller design with 3 or 4 thin cables to create a floating screen effect. This system eliminates the need for a traditional black drop, preserving architectural interest and leaving usable space above the viewing area for speakers or cameras. The HD Progressive 1.0 Perf surface is both acoustically transparent and high-resolution, making it ideal for large venue applications where audio must pass through the screen surface. This model is engineered for export, featuring a 220V (50Hz) motor and a TAA compliant design. For installation, the two-stage setup allows the case to be installed during rough-in construction, while the screen surface assembly is completed during the finishing stage. The white powder-coated case is UL Plenum rated and includes a slot closure door for a clean, finished aesthetic in recessed ceiling applications.
