The Da-Lite DL14983L is a Tensioned Advantage Series ceiling recessed electric screen designed for front projection in large venue environments. This 78" x 139" screen features a 159" diagonal and is surfaced with Da-Mat for standard resolution performance. It utilizes the SightLine cable drop system, which uses thin cables to eliminate the need for a traditional black border drop, creating a floating appearance. This system allows for variable vertical placement, accommodating a standard drop distance of up to 70" between the ceiling and the top of the screen, which preserves architectural interest and provides space for speaker or camera mounting. This TAA compliant, US-made screen is installed via a two-stage process: the white powder-coated case can be installed during the rough-in stage, while the screen surface assembly is added during the finishing stage. It features a slot closure door, standard 120V (60Hz) motor, and standard low voltage control for flexible operation.
