The Da-Lite DL14949LS is a 106" diagonal (52" x 92") ceiling recessed electric screen featuring the Parallax Stratos 1.0 surface. This high-resolution, ambient light rejecting (ALR) surface is designed for front projection in large venue environments. Utilizing SightLine cable drop technology, the screen uses a single roller design with thin cables to create a floating appearance, eliminating the need for a traditional black drop border. This system allows for a variable drop distance between the ceiling and the top of the screen, providing up to 70" of usable vertical space for the placement of speakers or cameras. This Tensioned Advantage series screen is TAA compliant and features a white powder-coated case with a slot-style closure door. The unit includes standard 120V (60Hz) motorization and standard low voltage control, utilizing Decora-style three-button wall switches. The TruGuide™ Electric Screen Tensioning System and Smooth Roll Technology work together to maintain a perfectly flat viewing surface. For installation, the two-stage design allows the white powder-coated case to be mounted during the rough-in phase, while the screen surface assembly is installed during finishing to conceal the rough opening with integrated ceiling trim.
