The Da-Lite DL15251LS is a ceiling recessed electric screen from the Advantage Series, featuring a 54" x 96" (137.2 x 2438.4 mm) matte white surface designed for 16:9 HDTV formats. This model utilizes SightLine technology, a cable drop system that uses 3 or 4 thin cables to provide the appearance of a floating screen, effectively eliminating the need for a traditional black drop border. This creates a clean aesthetic and preserves usable space above the viewing area for speakers or cameras. Designed for recessed installation, this screen includes trim to conceal the rough opening, eliminating the need for additional trim work. The installation is flexible due to a two-stage process: the white powder-coated, UL plenum-rated case can be installed during rough-in, while the surface assembly is installed during finishing. It features standard 120V (60Hz) motor operation with built-in standard low voltage control and a slot-style closure door for a finished look.
