Da-Lite Advantage Series, 52" x 92" with Matte White - DL15249BLS
Ceiling recessed electric screen with SightLine cable drop and Matte White surface, 106" diagonal
The Da-Lite DL15249BLS is an Advantage Series electric ceiling recessed screen designed for high-end architectural integration. This 52" x 92" (106" diagonal) screen features a SightLine cable drop system, which uses thin cables to eliminate the need for a traditional black border drop, creating the appearance of a floating display. The series is designed to be installed with ceiling trim in place to conceal the rough opening. This two-stage installation process allows the white powder-coated, UL Plenum rated case to be installed during the rough-in stage, while the non-tensioned Matte White surface assembly is mounted during the finishing stage. For advanced control, this model includes standard 120V (60Hz) motorization with built-in low voltage control and a Decora-style, three-button wall switch. The 16:9 HDTV format screen utilizes a standard black backing to maximize projected brightness on the front projection surface. This TAA compliant, US-made solution is ideal for large venue applications where aesthetics and ease of service are paramount.

Questions about this part
Will this screen work with my existing ceiling configuration?
Yes, the Advantage Series is designed for ceiling recessed applications. The case can be installed during the rough-in stage, and the sliding installation brackets provide flexibility for mounting the housing to the structure above a drop ceiling.
What do I need to purchase to control the screen height?
This model includes a standard Decora-style, three-button wall switch. For additional functionality, you can add a Da-Lite Screen Controller with an Infrared Remote (DL16524) or a PoE Injector (DL16521).
Can I adjust the vertical drop distance of the screen?
Yes. The SightLine cable drop feature accommodates a standard drop distance of up to 70" between the ceiling and the top of the screen. For longer drops, you can specify the DL16476 10-ft SightLine Option.
Does this screen require a specialized mounting surface?
The white powder-coated case is UL Plenum rated, making it suitable for many ceiling environments. The two-stage installation process is specifically designed to work with ceiling trim to conceal the rough opening.
Which installation documents are available for submittals?
Installers can access the Advantage Series Specification Sheet, CAD Models, and BIM Files through the product's resource tabs for technical submittals and planning.
