The Da-Lite DL15248BLS is an Advantage Series ceiling recessed electric screen designed for professional large venue installations. This 45" x 80" screen (92" diagonal) features a High Contrast Matte White non-tensioned surface optimized for front projection. It utilizes the SightLine cable drop system, which employs 3 or 4 thin cables to provide a floating appearance, eliminating the need for a traditional black drop border. The screen is configured with a standard 120V (60Hz) motor and includes built-in standard low voltage control. This SKU is a case/box only for rough-in, allowing the installer to install the housing during the rough-in stage and the surface assembly during the finishing stage. The white powder-coated, UL Plenum rated case is designed to be concealed within the ceiling trim. This TAA compliant solution is ideal for environments where maintaining architectural integrity and usable space above the screen is required.

This is a ceiling recessed model designed for rough-in installation. It uses sliding mounting brackets to attach the housing to the structure above the drop ceiling, and the SightLine feature allows for variable vertical placement up to 70" (standard) or 10' (optional) between the ceiling and the top of the screen.
What controls are required for the DL15248BLS?
This unit features built-in standard low voltage control and includes a Decora-style, three-button wall switch. For additional control options, you can add a Da-Lite Screen Controller with an Infrared Remote (DL16524) or an RF (BLE) Remote (DL16522).
