The C2G CG00679 is an 8 ft (2.4 m) Cat6a Snagless Shielded STP Ethernet Network Patch Cable designed to support high-speed 10GBase-T ports and equipment. This blue patch cable is ideal for connecting network adapters, hubs, switches, routers, DSL/cable modems, and patch panels where electromagnetic interference must be mitigated. Because it uses Shielded STP construction, it protects high-speed 10 Gigabit network connections from noise. The cable features 26AWG bare copper stranded conductors with FMPE (Foam Polyethylene) insulation to help maintain twist-spacing right to the termination point. This design helps minimize Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) and reduces both impedance and structural return loss (SRL). Each cable is fully tested to meet ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 Cat6a component requirements. The jacket is made of PVC and includes snagless, booted RJ-45 male connectors for easy installation and protection. It is rated for operating temperatures ranging from -4°F to 176°F (-20°C to 80°C) and is NDAA 889 compliant.
