The C2G CG03984 is an 8ft (2.4 m) Cat6 snagless unshielded UTP ethernet patch cable designed for high-bandwidth voice, data, or video distribution in fast Ethernet and Gigabit computer networks. This black patch cable features stranded copper conductors and a 24 AWG wire gauge to minimize Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels. Built to meet all Cat6 TIA/EIA standards, the design drastically reduces impedance and structural return loss (SRL) by bonding individual pairs to maintain twist-spacing throughout the line up to the termination point. The cable features RJ-45 male connectors on both ends with a PVC hood material. Each connector is equipped with a snagless, booted design to protect the clips from damage during installation and provide added strain relief. This unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable is available in various colors to facilitate network color-coding and is suitable for bandwidth-intensive applications.
