The C2G CG43173 is a 75 ft (22.9 m) HDBaseT certified Cat6a patch cable designed for high-performance AV and Power over Ethernet (PoE) environments. This blue cable is specifically engineered for HD A/V applications using HDBaseT extenders and PoE applications requiring high current levels, such as PoE type 1-4 per IEEE 802.3bt draft D1.2. It features a unique discontinuous shielding design, where metallized material is held within a polymeric layer to attenuate electromagnetic signals without the need for grounding. This design provides superior Alien Crosstalk performance compared to standard Cat6a UTP cables. The cable uses 23 AWG solid copper conductors and a snagless PVC connector hood. With a nominal 0.265" diameter, it allows for high-density installations and a smaller bend radius. This TAA compliant, CMP-rated plenum cable is fully tested to meet ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 Cat6a channel requirements and is rated for 10 Gigabit data transmission.
