This active device kit uses USB 3.2 Gen 1 technology to facilitate data transfer at speeds up to 5Gbps. It is an ideal solution for conference rooms, classrooms, and huddle spaces where a host PC or laptop needs to connect to peripherals located up to 33ft (10m) away. This kit includes an included 3.38 in (8.6 cm) link cable to connect the transmitter and receiver. For maximum compatibility with dual-role USB devices, such as video bars with integrated host computing, the extender can be configured via DIP switch to Device Mode at the device end and Auto Mode at the host end. The system supports SuperSpeed 5Gbps, High-Speed, Full-Speed, and Low-Speed USB rates and can manage up to 30 USB devices including hubs.
