The C2G CG00710 is a 5 ft (1.5 m) Cat6a Snagless Shielded STP Ethernet Network Patch Cable designed for high-speed 10GBase-T applications. This black patch cable is built to protect network connections from electromagnetic interference and noise, making it suitable for use with switches, routers, hubs, network adapters, and patch panels. The cable features stranded bare copper conductors with a 26AWG wire gauge and FMPE (Foam Polyethylene) insulation. To ensure performance in bandwidth-intensive voice, data, and video distribution, the cable is designed to reduce structural return loss (SRL) and impedance. Each individual pair is bonded together to maintain consistent twist-spacing throughout the line up to the termination point, which helps minimize Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT). This cable is fully tested to meet ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 Cat6a component requirements. The jacket is made of PVC and includes snagless, booted RJ-45 male connectors with PVC hoods.
