By utilizing a shielded STP (SSTP) construction, it protects high-speed 10 Gigabit network connections from electromagnetic interference and noise. The cable features 26AWG bare copper stranded conductors and FMPE (Foam Polyethylene) insulation to help maintain twist-spacing through the line to the termination point. This design minimizes Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) and reduces both impedance and structural return loss (SRL). Fully tested to meet ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 Cat6a component requirements, this cable is ideal for voice, data, and video distribution. It features a snagless, booted connector type with PVC hoods and is rated for an operating temperature range of -4°F to 176°F (-20°C to 80°C).
