The C2G CG00778 is a 5 ft (1.5 m) Cat6 Shielded STP Ethernet patch cable designed to protect high-speed networks from electromagnetic interference and noise. This cable is engineered for bandwidth-intensive voice, data, and video distribution applications, helping to drastically reduce impedance and structural return loss (SRL). Each cable is fully tested to meet ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 Cat6 component requirements. To minimize Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT), the design ensures that each individual pair is bonded together to maintain consistent twist-spacing through to the termination point. This gray patch cable features 26AWG bare copper stranded conductors and a PVC jacket. Both ends are equipped with RJ-45 male connectors featuring a snagless, booted design and PVC hoods for added protection. This series is available in several other lengths and colors to facilitate network color-coding.
