The C2G CG04015 is a 30ft (9.1m) Cat6 snagless patch cable designed for high-bandwidth voice, data, or video distribution applications within fast Ethernet and Gigabit computer networks. This unshielded UTP cable is constructed with high-quality copper stranded conductors and a 24 AWG wire gauge to minimize Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels. Each individual pair is bonded together to help maintain twist-spacing throughout the line, which significantly reduces both impedance and structural return loss (SRL). The cable features a 0.24 in (6.2 mm) diameter and uses PVC for both the jacket and the connector hood material. To facilitate easier installation and prevent damage during deployment, the RJ-45 male connectors are equipped with molded, snagless boots that provide extra strain relief and protect the clips from snapping. This yellow cable is part of a larger series available in up to 10 colors and lengths up to 150ft, allowing installers to implement color-coding for network organization.
