The C2G CG00871 is a 15 ft (4.6 m) Cat6 Snagless Shielded STP Ethernet Network Patch Cable in yellow. This shielded (STP) cable is designed to protect high-speed networks from electromagnetic interference and noise, making it suitable for bandwidth-intensive voice, data, and video distribution. It features 26AWG stranded bare copper conductors and uses an FM-PE insulation. The cable is fully tested to meet ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 Cat6 component requirements. Each pair is bonded together to maintain twist-spacing through to the termination point, which helps minimize Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels. The jacket is made of PVC and is rated for temperatures up to 75°C. This cable utilizes an RJ-45 male to RJ-45 male configuration with a T568B wiring scheme and includes snagless, booted PVC connector hoods for protection. The yellow color facilitates easy color-coding within complex network installations.
