The C2G CG00971 is a 0.5ft (0.15m) Cat6a Snagless Shielded (STP) Ethernet Network Patch Cable designed to support high-speed 10GBase-T ports and equipment. This gray patch cable is suitable for connecting network adapters, hubs, switches, routers, DSL/cable modems, and patch panels. It features a shielded SSTP construction to protect high-speed 10 Gigabit network connections from electromagnetic interference and noise. To maintain signal integrity, the individual pairs are bonded together to preserve twist-spacing throughout the line up to the termination point, which helps minimize Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels. This cable is constructed with 26AWG bare copper stranded conductors and FMPE insulation. Each cable is fully tested to meet ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 Cat6a component requirements, ensuring performance for bandwidth-intensive voice, data, and video distribution applications. The assembly features snagless PVC boots and a 0.24 in (6.2 mm) cable diameter.
