The C2G CG00977 is a 0.5 ft (0.2 m) Cat6a Snagless Shielded (STP) Ethernet Network Patch Cable in Aqua, engineered specifically for 10GBase-T ports and high-speed equipment. This cable is designed to protect sensitive 10 Gigabit network connections from electromagnetic interference and noise by utilizing a shielded SSTP construction. It is suitable for use with network adapters, hubs, switches, routers, DSL/cable modems, and patch panels. Each cable is fully tested to meet ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 Cat6a component requirements, ensuring reliable performance for bandwidth-intensive video, voice, and data distribution. The construction features 26AWG bare copper stranded conductors with FMPE (Foam Polyethylene) insulation to maintain twist-spacing and reduce Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels up to the termination point. The snagless, booted RJ-45 male connectors feature a PVC hood material to protect the locking tabs during installation.
