The Middle Atlantic WR-44-42 is a 44 RU steel enclosure designed to solve the challenge of servicing equipment in tight spaces. When an equipment bay is placed against a wall or positioned back-to-back with another rack, an access aisle is often impossible to maintain. This WR Series enclosure solves that by utilizing a detachable, rotating rack frame that pulls out for complete rear access. This allows installers to manage connections for large audio, video, or security equipment without needing clearance behind the unit. The host enclosure can be pre-installed on-site, and the frame itself can be integrated with equipment and tested off-site before final installation. This 44 RU system features standard 10-32 threaded front and rear rackrails with marked spaces and optimized ventilation for passive thermal management. The 24 in (61 cm) wide enclosure includes 4" laser knockouts for cable pass-through or ganging multiple racks together.
