It includes basic surge protection and built-in EMI filtering to protect sensitive electronics, specifically utilizing line to neutral surge protection to ensure the ground remains uncontaminated. The chassis depth is 9.33 in (23.7 cm) to assist with plugging in equipment in deep racks. This model lacks a front-facing power switch, which helps prevent unauthorized tampering, and features an integrated light to indicate if the unit is receiving power.
