SR Series Large Pivoting Rack - SR-24-28
24 RU large pivoting wall rack with 28" depth, 500 lbs UL load capacity, and seismic rating
The Middle Atlantic SR-24-28 is a 24 RU large pivoting wall rack designed to maximize space efficiency in tight installation environments. This series features an innovative design that allows the rack to pivot 90° on a floor base, providing immediate access to rear equipment connections without requiring an aisle behind the unit. This makes the SR-24-28 an essential choice for heavy installations where on-wall cabling or pull boxes are utilized. Built for high-performance environments, the rack has a UL load capacity of 500 lbs (226.8 kg) and is seismic rated, providing a seismic load capacity of 335 lbs (152 kg) to deliver essential vibration resistance. This unit utilizes Forward rackrails, making it compatible with the Forward family of accessories, including Forward blank panels and vent panels. The SR-24-28 includes a center section rear channel to accommodate slim power solutions, such as the Select Vertical PDU with RackLink™. To assist with complex installations, the rack offers flexible cable entry through the top, bottom, and sides, featuring additional knockouts for fans or electrical boxes. The design also provides a "bonus" 4 rackspaces in the base for mounting UPS equipment and 3 additional rackspaces at the top for patching and small equipment. For high-density integration, a sub plate is available for mounting 89D blocks and other connectivity accessories. This TAA compliant and UL listed rack is an ideal solution for installers requiring a robust, space-saving enclosure that facilitates rapid servicing of rear-facing connections.
