The Da-Lite 34558L is a Tensioned Advantage Series electric screen designed for ceiling recessed applications. This complete screen solution features a 164" (416.6 cm) diagonal and a screen size of 87" x 139" (221 x 353 cm) with a wide 16:10 format. It is optimized for front projection using the Da-Mat surface, which is paired with a standard black drop to maintain brightness. The housing is a white powder-coated case with a slot-style closure door, designed to be UL plenum rated for safety in various ceiling environments. Installation is facilitated by sliding mounting brackets that allow for flexibility when attaching the housing to structures above a drop ceiling. This series supports a two-stage installation process: the screen case can be installed during the rough-in construction phase, while the screen surface assembly is completed during the finishing stage. For control, this unit includes standard 120V (60Hz) motor operation and is equipped with standard low voltage control (LVC) capabilities. This TAA compliant, US-made screen is built for large venue applications where a clean, recessed aesthetic is required.
