The CG04028 is an 8ft (2.4m) Cat6 snagless unshielded UTP ethernet network patch cable designed for high-bandwidth environments. This cable is suitable for fast Ethernet and Gigabit computer networks that require intensive distribution for voice, data, or video applications. Built with high quality copper stranded conductors, this cable minimizes Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels. Each individual pair is bonded together to maintain twist-spacing throughout the entire line, up to the termination point. This construction helps drastically reduce both impedance and structural return loss (SRL) to meet all Cat6 TIA/EIA standards. The purple jacket is made of PVC and features a snagless, booted design that protects the RJ-45 clips from damage during installation and provides added strain relief. This unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable features a 0.24 in (6.2 mm) diameter and follows the T568B wiring scheme.
