The C2G CG00849 is an 8ft (2.4m) Cat6 shielded STP Ethernet network patch cable designed to protect high-speed networks from electromagnetic interference and noise. This red cable utilizes a stranded SSTP construction to handle bandwidth-intensive applications while drastically reducing impedance and structural return loss (SRL). Each cable features 26AWG bare copper conductors with FM-PE insulation and is fully tested to meet ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 Cat6 component requirements. To minimize Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT), each individual pair is bonded together to maintain consistent twist-spacing through to the termination point. The connectors are equipped with PVC snagless boots and are configured with a T568B wiring scheme. For ease of use in complex rack environments, each cable includes an individual length label. This specific red variant allows installers to easily color-code network segments within a larger installation.
