The C2G CG27251 is a 7 ft (2.1 m) Cat5e shielded patch cable designed to maintain network integrity in environments with high electromagnetic interference (EMI) or radio frequency interference (RFI). This F/UTP cable utilizes an overall cable foil shield and a drain wire to provide continuous protection against external noise. Each cable features 24 AWG stranded copper conductors and is terminated with shielded 50 micron gold-plated RJ45 male connectors. For added durability and strain relief during installation and handling, the connectors are equipped with snagless, booted PVC hoods. These cables are wired to the TSB 568B (AT+T 258A) standard. This blue cable is an ideal choice for color-coding network segments in high-interference zones. To achieve maximum end-to-end shielding and protection, this cable should be used in conjunction with a Cat5e shielded patch panel and Cat5e shielded keystone jacks.
