It is constructed with high-quality stranded copper conductors and features an impedance of 100 ohms to help reduce both impedance and structural return loss (SRL). Each individual pair is bonded together to maintain twist-spacing throughout the line right up to the termination point, which minimizes Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels. The cable features a 0.24 in (6.2 mm) diameter and a PVC jacket with a snagless boot that provides extra strain relief and protects the RJ-45 clips from damage during installation and frequent plugging or unplugging. This red cable is part of a larger series available in 10 colors and various lengths up to 150ft, allowing for easy color-coding within a network installation.
