The C2G CG04016 is a 2ft (0.6m) Cat6 snagless UTP Ethernet network patch cable designed for bandwidth-intensive applications involving voice, data, or video distribution. This orange unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable utilizes stranded copper conductors and a PVC jacket to facilitate high-speed Gigabit computer network performance. It is engineered to meet all Cat6 TIA/EIA standards, providing a solution that drastically reduces structural return loss (SRL) and impedance. Each individual pair within the 0.24 in (6.2 mm) diameter cable is bonded together to maintain twist-spacing through the termination point, a design feature intended to minimize Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels. The integrated snagless boot is constructed from PVC and serves to protect the RJ-45 male connector clips from damage during installation or frequent plugging and unplugging, while also providing additional strain relief for the connection. This cable uses a T568B wiring scheme and is part of a series available in 10 colors to assist with network color-coding.
