Each individual pair is bonded together to maintain twist-spacing through to the termination point, which helps minimize Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels. The cable utilizes 24 AWG stranded copper conductors for reliable connectivity in Gigabit Ethernet and fast Ethernet environments. For ease of installation, the molded snagless boots protect the RJ-45 clips from damage during plugging and unplugging while providing extra strain relief. This purple cable is part of a larger series that includes 10 different colors and various lengths up to 150ft, allowing for efficient color-coded network management.
