Engineered for high-density datacenter applications, this cable utilizes 28 AWG stranded copper conductors, providing a 36% reduction in diameter compared to standard Cat6 patch cables. This slim profile significantly reduces the cable surface area, which promotes improved airflow within crowded server racks and enclosures. The 28 AWG construction also enables a much tighter bend radius of 0.6 in (15.2 mm), allowing for easier routing through compact cable management panels. This cable is designed for fast Ethernet networks supporting bandwidth-intensive voice, data, or video distribution. Each connector features a molded snagless boot made of PVC to prevent snags and provide strain relief. While suitable for high-speed data, please note that for PoE/PoE+ applications, bundles should be limited to 40 cables to manage heat dissipation.
