The C2G CG00955 is a 0.5 ft (0.2 m) Red Cat6 Snagless Unshielded UTP Ethernet Network Patch Cable designed for high-bandwidth environments. This cable supports fast Ethernet and Gigabit computer networks, making it suitable for bandwidth-intensive voice, data, or video distribution applications. Built with 24 AWG stranded copper conductors, the cable maintains twist-spacing through the termination point to reduce impedance and structural return loss (SRL). This design minimizes Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels across the line. The jacket is constructed from PVC and features a 0.24 in (6.2 mm) diameter. For ease of installation, the cable utilizes a molded, snagless boot made of PVC that protects the RJ-45 clips from damage during repeated plugging and unplugging while providing extra strain relief. The wiring follows the T568B scheme. This SKU is part of a larger series available in up to 150ft lengths and 10 different colors to facilitate network color-coding.
