The CG53880 Superbooster USB 2.0 Over Cat5 Dongle Kit provides a reliable method for extending USB signals beyond the native 16.4 ft limitation. This kit is designed for commercial environments such as meeting rooms and huddle spaces where high-definition video conferencing equipment, like a Google Chromebox, needs to be placed away from the camera or microphone for aesthetic or security reasons. By utilizing a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable, this kit allows devices to function normally at distances up to 328 ft (100 m). This bidirectional solution supports true USB 2.0 speeds with a data transfer rate of 480 MBPS. The kit includes an AC adapter and utilizes TruChoice Trademark power, allowing the installer to provide 500 mA of power from either the transmitter or receiver end, depending on the configuration.
