HDMI® Ultra-Slim HDBaseT + RS232 And IR Over Cat Extender Box Receiver - 4K 60Hz
HDBaseT receiver for 4K HDMI extension via Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat6a up to 230 ft (70.1 m)
The C2G31015 is an HDBaseT receiver designed to extend high-definition video and audio signals from a 4K source to a display via a single Ethernet cable. This active device is ideal for professional installations in lecture halls, classrooms, and conference rooms where distances exceed the limits of standard HDMI cabling. It supports 4K @ 60Hz resolutions using Cat6a cabling for runs up to 130 ft (40 m), while Cat5e or Cat6 cabling allows for 1080p extension up to 230 ft (70.1 m) and 4K extension up to 115 ft (35 m). This receiver features HDCP 2.2 compliance to ensure secure content transmission and supports advanced audio formats including Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X, DTS-HD Master Audio, and PCM 7.1. With bi-directional PoC (Power over Cable) support, this unit can be powered from either the transmitter or receiver side, providing significant installation flexibility. The device includes an RS232 port for firmware upgrades and management. For optimal performance in high EMI/RFI environments or long coiled runs, shielded, solid conductor Cat6 or HDBaseT Certified Cat6a cabling is recommended.
