The CG42394 is a C2G HDMI Inline Extender designed to extend A/V signals over existing HDMI cabling. This active device supports high-resolution video, including 4K @ 60Hz (4096 x 2160) with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for a total bandwidth of 18 Gbps. When utilizing 4K resolution, the extender reaches distances up to 82ft, while standard 1080p signals can be extended up to 164ft. This unit is HDCP 2.2 compliant and supports HDR10, Dolby Vision HDR, 3D formats, and CEC pass-through. It also handles advanced audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Digital AC3, and LPCM 7.1. The female-to-female configuration allows for simple installation between a source and a display. While many HDMI sources provide enough power for operation, some devices may require an external DC to USB power cable or an HDMI Voltage Inserter (C2G 42223 or 42236) to function properly.
