The C2G31012 is a dual-gang wall plate transmitter to box receiver system designed to extend high-definition signals across large environments like conference rooms, lecture halls, and classrooms. This HDBaseT solution allows a single Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat6a cable to carry a 4K HDMI signal, VGA video, and high-speed USB 2.0 data simultaneously. For 4K HDMI at 60Hz, the system supports distances up to 130 feet when using Cat6a cabling. When using Cat5e or Cat6, the unit supports 4K HDMI up to 115 feet and 1080p VGA up to 230 feet. The transmitter features automatic port selection and supports one-way analog audio pass-through from the transmitter to the receiver. Additionally, the receiver supports PoH (Power over HDBaseT), allowing it to send power back to the wall plate transmitter to eliminate the need for a local power adapter at the wall. This setup is ideal for KVM applications, enabling control of USB cameras, keyboards, and mice via USB 2.0 pass-through over distances up to 230 feet.
