The Vaddio 999-86820-000 is an integrated in-ceiling audio solution that combines an overhead microphone array with a built-in speaker amplifier. Designed for the EasyIP or Dante audio ecosystem, this 2-in-1 unit simplifies installation by delivering microphone pickup and a powered speaker output over a single network cable. Each pendant features a three-element microphone array providing 360° coverage, making it suitable for average-sized meeting rooms. Each unit includes integrated Digital Signal Processing (DSP) with echo cancellation (AEC), equalization, filtering, and automatic gain control (AGC). The DSP applies AEC reference from the far end to individual mic elements to ensure clear communication. Power is supplied via PoE+, providing 25 W of total output power when using an EasyIP Switch or other PoE+ source, or 15 W when using a standard PoE source. The single output can drive one speaker or multiple speakers wired in series or parallel, provided the total load is greater than or equal to 4 ohms. For larger environments, multiple units can be deployed to achieve full coverage, limited only by available network switch ports.
