Vaddio Ceiling Speakers
Passive 2-way ceiling speakers sold in pairs, featuring 4-inch drivers and magnetic grilles for clear vocal reproduction
The Vaddio 999-85600-000 is a pair of passive 2-way speakers engineered specifically for environments requiring high vocal clarity, such as classrooms and conference rooms. These speakers utilize a 4-inch metalized cone woofer paired with a coaxially mounted tweeter to ensure natural sound reproduction. Each speaker features a high-performance driver with rare-earth neodymium magnets and a neoprene surround to enhance durability. Installation is streamlined by an air-sealed steel enclosure that includes a recessed cable cavity and a removable phoenix-style plug. For secure mounting, the unit provides baffle-located screws to lock the swivel-out mounting tabs once the magnetic, neutral white metal grille is removed. These units are versatile for both ceiling recessed and in-wall applications, and the package includes lightweight aluminum ceiling tile braces to facilitate installation in suspended ceilings.
