The Vaddio 999-86810-000 EasyIP CeilingMIC/AMP D is an integrated in-ceiling audio solution that combines an overhead microphone with a built-in speaker amplifier. By utilizing Dante networked audio, this unit simplifies the deployment of digital signal transmission over existing network infrastructure. It is part of the Vaddio EasyIP AV-over-IP ecosystem, providing a convenient way to bring analog speakers into a Dante or EasyIP environment via a single cable. The device features a three-element microphone array designed to provide 360° pickup coverage, making it suitable for average-sized meeting rooms. Each unit includes an integrated amplifier that can power one speaker or multiple speakers wired in series or parallel, provided the total load is 4 ohms or greater. For larger spaces, multiple units can be deployed, limited only by available network switch ports. The unit's digital signal processing (DSP) includes integrated echo cancellation (AEC), equalization, filtering, and automatic gain control (AGC). This AEC reference is received from the far end to ensure clear conference calls. Installation is streamlined through PoE+ or PoE connectivity, and the pendant includes an adjustable 3 ft. (0.9 m) drop cable that can be extended to a total length of 15 ft. (4.6 m) using a standard RJ45 jack.
