The C2G CG50824 is a 8 ft (2.4 m) Cat6a Unshielded UTP Ethernet network patch cable designed to support 10GBase-T equipment. It enables high-speed 10 Gigabit data transmission over a 4 pair copper cable, facilitating connections up to 100 meters. This cable is fully tested to meet ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 Cat6a channel requirements, providing improved alien cross talk performance compared to standard Cat6 cabling. Constructed with 26AWG bare copper stranded conductors and HDPE insulation, the cable features a 0.24 in (6 mm) diameter. It is finished with a PVC jacket and PVC connector hoods. The snagless, booted RJ-45 male connectors are specifically designed for high-density switch applications to prevent accidental disconnects. The purple jacket allows for easy color-coding within complex network installations, and each cable features an individual length label for rapid identification during deployment.
