The connectors are shielded, 50 micron gold-plated RJ45, and protected by PVC snagless boots that provide additional strain relief and durability during installation. For complete end-to-end shielding in high-interference zones, it is recommended to use this cable alongside C2G Cat5e shielded patch panels and keystone jacks. This black, 0.24 in (6 mm) diameter cable is rated for operating temperatures ranging from -4°F (-20°C) to 176°F (80°C).
