The C2G CG15189 is a 5 ft (1.5 m) Cat5e snagless patch cable designed for bandwidth-intensive voice, data, or video distribution in fast Ethernet networks. This unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable features a 24 AWG stranded copper conductor to minimize Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels. Each individual pair is bonded together to maintain consistent twist-spacing throughout the line, right up to the RJ-45 termination points, which helps reduce impedance and structural return loss (SRL). This cable utilizes a T568B wiring scheme and provides a 350 mHz bandwidth. The molded, snagless PVC boots provide extra strain relief and protect the connector clips from damage during repeated plugging and unplugging. This black cable is part of a larger series that includes various colors and lengths up to 150 ft to assist with network color-coding.
